Everyday is a Quilt Day

Recently, at Creation Station Quilt Store in Buelton CA, I met designer Amy Bradley. She is one talented lady who loves to have fun with fabric and shares this with us in her many applique patterns.

One of her recent additions:

My true love gave to me.....

On Monday I learned a new sewing technique. 'APPLIQUE'

Jane Adams has done everything quilting including owning a quilt store in Yorba Linda. She sold that several years ago and now teaches classes at Calico House and Gingers. She is still addicted to quilting...!!

Jane is my instructor, and already I love this. Its like being in Kindergarten cutting and pasting.

I need to sew around the edges, and add buttons and bows.....fun for me.

There are 12 quilt blocks to do over the next 7mths, and so you will see some more.
